Job Title: Credentialing Specialist (CPCS Required)

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Compensation: $32 - $35 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

With an emphasis on continuity of care, compassion, and proactive rounding , our providers serve residents in assisted living, memory care, and group home settings throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

We are seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support our growing team of physicians and advanced practice providers. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving healthcare access, this is your opportunity to play a critical behind-the-scenes role in driving better care for older adults .

Credentialing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Manage CAQH, PECOS, and NPI registry for TCP providers
  • Maintain and organize current state licenses, CSR, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage , and other required credentialing documents
  • Track license and certification expirations to ensure timely renewals
  • Collaborate with the Billing Manager to ensure accurate provider setup under payer contracts
  • Keep provider demographic data up to date with all payers
  • Conduct regular audits of health plan directories for accuracy
  • Stay informed of changing facility and payer requirements related to credentialing
  • Assist with additional billing or administrative tasks as assigned

Credentialing Specialist Qualifications:

  • CPCS certification is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated success in provider credentialing, privileging, and re-credentialing
  • Strong working knowledge of credentialing platforms like CAQH, PECOS, and NPI registry
  • Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Understanding of state licensing, DEA, CSR, and malpractice requirements
  • Strong communicator, able to coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders
