Job Description

Prominent law firm seeks a Litigation savvy Associate Attorney to join its expanding NY group.

Candidate will have the following: Minimum 3 years of solid hands on litigation experience within a major law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) ; Some trial engagement ; Experience drafting and arguing motions ; Experience handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, conducting witness interviews, drafting pleadings, writing briefs, and preparing for trial ; Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and the flexibility to engage and collaborate across the firm's capabilities and practice areas.

Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired) ; Strong research, verbal & written communication skills required ; NY Bar.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Representing a diverse group of companies and individuals, from all industries, in business disputes in state and federal court litigation, through trial and appeal, as well as in mediation and arbitration.

-Aiding clients with every aspect of their dispute resolution needs, nationally and internationally.

-Providing the full spectrum of litigation services to clients throughout the U.S. and abroad in criminal, governmental regulatory and civil litigation matters.

-Drafting and preparing motions and papers and other litigation documents.

-Defending clients' interests in matters to include white collar criminal litigation, as well as, government and internal investigations.

Salary: $ 250,000.00 370,000.00 Per Year
