Job Description

Paradigm is searching for an Assembler, for our client, a leader in the electronics manufacturer industry. This role is responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components, following detailed work instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment. IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications are a plus.

Type: 4 month contract to hire

Location: Vancouver, WA | Onsite

As an Assembler you will:

• Become IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications. 
  
• Meet production requirements: Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation, Pass the Component Identification quiz, run in-line washers, Depanel per work instructions, and In-process inspect accurately. 
  
• Perform Potting as Team requires. 
  
• Perform prepping, stuffing, and selective solder operations. 
  
• Assist the shipping clerk as needed. 
  
• Ensure that all products are tagged, bagged, packaged and labeled properly and in accordance with customer and/or shipper’s specifications. 
  
• Responsibility is to ship per work instructions and customer requirements. 
  
• Perform all computer transactions accurately and quickly. 
  
• Ability to navigate several software applications. 
  
• De-kit jobs. 
  

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified 2 years production environment experience.
  
• Good verbal and written skills.
  
• Basic computer skills. 
  
• Must be a U.S Citizen.
